For the sake of teeth, don’t just put sweets in the school cone
For first graders, school starts after the summer vacations. The new satchel is at home long before school starts. Traditionally, a well-filled school bag is part of the start-of-school present. The first day of school is eagerly awaited for weeks.

Usually, there is a lot of candy in the school cone on the day of enrollment. However, conventional sugar is a nutrient for bacteria and can cause dental caries. Family and friends should therefore consciously choose which things to give as gifts.
Little sugar, lots of fun in the school cone
Of course, at a celebration may also be nibbled. But with a sense of proportion. Parents select their child’s favorite sweets or buy a tooth-friendly alternative. These sugar-free products bear the “tooth man” seal, the well-known white tooth with umbrella.
Small gifts for the school cone
“There are many small gifts that first graders are happy to receive,” explains Dirk Kropp, executive director of Initiative proDente e.V. “They can instill a desire for school and are a tooth-friendly addition to the school bag.”

How about z.B. with funny reflectors, which also make the way to school safer? A first set of keys or even a wallet support the increasing independence of children.
In addition, young schoolchildren are happy about colorful stickers for notebooks and books, a fancy pen or a picture book.
